Goaltender Dane Pauls of Falmouth, Maine, has signed on to be the newest force between the pipes for the Stars next season.
Pauls, a '96, had an impressive high school hockey career in Falmouth. He's helped lead his team to two state championships in 2013 and 2014, and has already gained interest from college hockey coaches.
"I think Dane can be the go-to guy down the stretch," said Dan Fontas, general manager of the Stars. "He's been looked at by Colby College."
Fontas is confident Pauls will be one-third of the goaltending trio that will lead the Stars to a successful playoff run this season.
