Northern States Junior Hockey League has named Stars players Steve Crocker, Jake Latham and Ian McNamara to the league's list of top performers this week.
In the weekend sweep against the Maine Wild, Steve Crocker registered a hat trick on Saturday, which help lift the Stars to a 7-4 win. Latham scored his own hat trick on Sunday, again catapulting the Stars to a 7-3 win over the Maine Wild. McNamara showed a strong defensive game all weekend long.
The Stars will face three western conference teams at this weekend's showcase in Morrisville, New York: The Roc City Royals, Lockport Express, and host team Syracuse Stampede.
