The 03 Stars went to Waterville Valley this weekend to face very tough competition.

Game one matched the younger Stars against the 02 Boston Bandits.  The Stars played very strong and took advantage of many power plays to win 6-1 and start the tournament out right.

The next day the Stars beat the Seacoast Spartans 4-0 in a morning game.  They followed that game by winning the night game 4-1 over the older 02 Minutemen Flames.

The Stars got 14.5 PTS out of a possible 15 in the first three games.  By doing so they made the championship game against the 02 Boston Jr Rangers Elite.

The BJR took the Gold, but the gritty 03 Stars battled them every step of the way.  In the end the Stars had to settle for the Silver, but the coaches and parents were beyond ecstatic in the play of the kids.  They came to the tournament they call home, and yet again delivered a medal.
