The Mite Majors hit the ice on Sunday morning to face the New England Predators.Matthew Kaplan got the Stars on the board early in the first with an unassisted goal. Kaiden Belleville scored the Stars second goal of the period.But late in the first period the Predators answered with a goal to cut the lead to one.The Predators took that momentum into the second period and tied the game up just twenty seconds into the period. With the game tied at two the Stars played with a purpose took control of the game with seven unanswered goals. The Stars never took their foot off of the gas  and scored three more goals to closed out the game with a 12-4 win.

The 2003 NE Stars went to Lake Placid and won the Bronze Medal in the 02/03 division. They won the medal game 5-3 over Boch Blazzers Elite.

The squirt minor premier team 05s unfortunately lost 13-1 last weekend.
 
On Saturday the bantam minor elite team played the other NE Stars team and won 4-2. On Sunday the team lost to the Walpole Express 2-1.
 
 
The 2002 Peewee Premier team split their weekend falling to the Central Mass Outlaws Black 2-1 and beating the Central Mass Outlaws Orange 4-0.  The Stars got contributions from all team members this weekend in what was one of their best brands of hockey in recent history.  They will travel to Waterville Valley this upcoming weekend to face off in the 2015 Deep Freeze Peewee A tournament.
 
The Stars '07 Mite team participated in the Winter Classic Tournament @ Tri Town Arena over the weekend and finished in 2nd place.  The tournament started out Friday morning with an 8-5 loss to the West River Royals.  It was an evenly matched game with a few extra bounces going the Royals way.  Jeffrey Zou led the scoring with 3 while Matthew Hall and Jakob Bazdanes netted a goal a piece.  The Stars then went on to beat the Northeast Ice Dogs 4-2 and the TT Allstars 12-3 on Saturday.  Zou (3) and Braden Shattuck put the puck home against the Ice Dogs while Zou (8), Hall (2), Camden Miller and Hunter Lammi contributed to the win against the Allstars.  The team needed to win every period and the game against the Allstars to secure their ticket to the Championship game and put on an impressive display to accomplish just that. Kate Harrison and Ryan Gambale were incredibly strong defensively and kept the front of the net clean of any pucks and traffic. Austin Gartner and Michael Dango did a great job between the pipes and made some timely saves to help keep the Stars rolling throughout the tournament. .  
 
In the Championship game on Sunday the Stars took on an incredibly strong Philadelphia Sting who had outscored their opponents in the qualifying games 45-4.  The Stars started a little slow and gave the Sting a 3-0 lead before Zou netted one. The Sting bounced right back and added 2 more to take a 5-1 lead.  The Stars seemed to gain some momentum with a few quick goals from Zou and Lammi, however the Sting dug deep and took the game by a final of 13-4.  The team played their hearts out and left it all on the ice. They walked away with their heads held high carrying the 2nd place trophies.  Jeffrey Zou earned the Stars Stick of the Week for his dominating offensive performance as well as his back checking and team play. 
 
A few short hours after falling in the Championship game, the Stars had to lace them up for their 5th game in 3 days against a tough Concord Capitals team.  They matched up well in the first period before the wheels fell off and fatigue set in, ultimately falling to the Capitals 10-2.  Brayden Atwood scored his first of the season while Zou also added another to his collection.  
 
The Stars will be playing the West River Royals for the 3rd time in as many weeks this upcoming Sunday and will be looking to put up their first W against them.
