The mite majors had a busy weekend with games on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday the Stars played their parents, and it was an intense game.  The parents came out strong and got on the board first. The kids battled all game and at the end of the day it was uncertain who won.  The Stars certainly believe they won but for some reason the score keeper lost track!  All in all it was a great event for everyone that participated.

On Sunday the Stars faced off against the North Shore Shamrocks.  The Stars got on the board in the first period with an unassisted goal from David Wood.  Heading into the 2nd period in a tied game the Stars took control of the game getting another unassisted goal from David Wood.  Just a minute and a half later Jeffrey Zou scored an unassisted goal, to increase the Stars lead.  The 4th and final goal was an open net goal scored by Jack Hayes with the assist coming from Joey DeKarski.  The entire team played well and earned the 4-1 win.  Matthew Kaplan earned the game puck for outstanding play!

The bantam minor elite Stars played the New England Predators on Saturday and won 8-0. On Sunday we played the South Shore Kings and won 4-2.
