Q and A with PeeWee Minor U11 coach Brian Donnelle:

Q: How is your team doing this season?

A: We have a great group of boys who have all bonded and forged friendships. They seem like they have been together for years and their play is starting to reflect that. We played some tough competition in Lake Placid, and I am seeing it pay off in league play now.

Q: Where is your team in the standings?

A: We are in the middle of the pack.

Q:  What are the bright spots of your team? What do they do well together? What are their strengths?

A:  I think the boys give a great effort every time they hit the ice. They never quit and it is starting to show with their record. Their skills are getting better and better. Their positioning is improving.

Q: What are some things you are hoping comes together for them more as the season progresses?
A:
The main thing I am looking for now is for them to continue to develop their hockey IQ. They have made great strides, but I want to see them continue to get better.

Q: What is your favorite part of coaching this team?

A: They are a fun group of kids, great cast of characters and they keep all of us coaches smiling. If they continue to work hard we will end up having a great season.
