The following is a Q & A with Jon Leclaire, New England Stars U13 elite coach.

Q: How is your team doing this season?

A: We are progressing forward with our team play. We have our very good weeks and then sometimes we fall short but we bounce back again.

Q: Where is your team in the standings?

A: We usually hang around in 3rd or 4th place. Trying to make sure we are always in the playoff hunt.

Q: What do they do well together?

A: These boys have great attitudes. When they run into hard times they get back on their skates and go right back at it.

Q: What do they need to work on?

A: Our team is always a work in progress.  Something I would like them to develop is the team’s vision on the ice. There is a lot of time and space out there that seems to get away from them. As they improve their vision a whole new look of the game will appear.
