The 12U Pee Wee Premier Independent team won Gold to end their season at the Green Mountain Avalanche Tournament in Jay Peak VT.   The 03 Stars won all five games including a 2-0 win in the final game.  Goalie Gabe Brissette and the vaunted Stars Defense only gave up 2 goals in five games.   Shawn Spring, Kelly Harty, Kyle Melo, Mike Carpenter, and Oliver Miller all won player of the game awards.   Oliver had a total of 11 goals in the five games.   This was a total team effort.  All 15 kids said it was their mission from day one to win the Gold for their retiring coach of six years, Mike Steadman. They did not disappoint.  Great year for the Stars and they are all returning next year to start their Bantam careers.
